Our charity ‘Yo-Chi Unlimited’ is growing…
We support schools, hospices, and the wider community with our unique programme.
-
Our Purpose.
We believe every child deserves the tools to support them in their wellbeing and connect—to themselves, to others, and to the natural world.
Yo-Chi unlimited is a registered charity dedicated to improving the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of children through our unique programme that combines Seasonal Yoga, Tai Chi, reflexology, story massage, breathwork and mindfulness. Delivered in schools, hospices and community settings, Yo-Chi supports children of all ages and abilities to develop lifelong wellbeing skills in a fun, creative, and inclusive way.
-
Our Mission.
Our mission is to equip children and their caregivers with accessible, practical tools that support a young persons wellbeing. We aim to address the growing mental, emotional, and physical challenges faced by young people today. By embedding these tools into schools, families, and communities, the Yo-Chi charity works to prevent future health crises, reduce pressure on overstretched services, and foster a generation of resilient, self-aware, and connected individuals who can thrive in an ever-changing world.
-
Our Promise.
Our promise to the community now is to ease the growing pressure on children’s health services by equipping schools, teachers, and families with simple, effective tools to support wellbeing.
Having adapted our main stream Yo-Chi Programme so it is fully inclusive, our team now support children with the most critical health needs in hospices and those with special educational needs and disabilities. Our promise now aim to ease the growing pressure on children’s health services by equipping schools, teachers, and families with simple, effective tools to support wellbeing. Our programme helps embed mindful practices into everyday learning, encourages healthy routines at home, and empowers children to understand the impact of technology, stress, and lifestyle on their overall health.
Kind words from our schools…
‘We have been fortunate enough to work with Yo-Chi for several years now. We are a special school and have children with a range of complex learning needs : SLD, PMLD and MLD. Whether they have physical and / or learning difficulties the Yo-Chi Programme is tailored to enable all. Elsa, our Yo-Chi facilitator, has been flexible enough to support us when we have high dependency groups that can only manage short sessions with a high sensory focus right through to more traditional sessions. What makes it great is the ‘can do ‘ attitude to making it work for each group and individual child’ Holywater School

Schools
If you are a main stream or SEND school we know how under pressure settings can be with the present mental health crisis. Our programme is designed by Health Specialists and Educators to support children with academic stress, and social pressures which can leave them feeling anxious and disconnected. The Yo-Chi programme helps children learn about their body and how their brain works, how to find calm, confidence through creativity and mindful practice and joy through movement, and nature-based learning. It’s a simple, supportive way to help them thrive in today’s busy world.

Hospices
At Yo-Chi we understand that Hospices provide the most amazing care for children with life limiting illnesses or disabilities. Having witnessed time and time again the most amazing responses from even the most profoundly poorly children, the programme is delicately facilitated along side the children’s main nurses and carers to provide therapies that ease pain, provide comfort and aid with relaxation.
These therapies include breathwork, reflexology, story massage and gentle stretches. Using Puppetry and storytelling we bring the programme alive in a unique way for these very special children

Please contact us if you are a health and wellbeing Organisation or provide a mental health service to young people. The Yo-Chi programme can provide workshops and and sessions to support you. Children are under more pressure than ever, with anxiety, social disconnection, and overuse of technology affecting their health and development.
Yo-Chi responds to this urgent need by delivering accessible, evidence-informed wellbeing tools that empower children to move, reflect, and build resilience—creating long-term impact across schools, families, and communities.
