Laura Dymock, Teacher, Trainer & Co-Founder

The heart of Yo-Chi is our passionate and experienced team of educators, therapists, and wellbeing practitioners. With diverse backgrounds in yoga, education, drama therapy, and child development, our team brings warmth, creativity, and deep care to every session.

We’re united by a shared mission: to nurture a generation of emotionally resilient, confident, and healthy young people through mindful movement and seasonal learning.

Laura is a 500 RYT Yoga teacher, a trained Mindfulness practitioner and co-founder and developer of Yo-Chi. She is extremely passionate about supporting other children with their health and wellbeing and has been teaching developing and teaching the Yo-Chi programme for over ten years.

Laura has practiced yoga since childhood and has always had a fascination with the mind-body connection. She has now taught Yoga to hundreds of adults and children of all abilities and continues to do so.

Laura also has a background in acting and writing which she has brought to the programme with her skills in drama and storytelling. She has written over 20 Campfire stories for Yo-Chi, which form a magical part of the programme in which children can explore different archetypes, emotions and skills though story telling and movement.

Sue Woodd, Trainer & Co-Founder

Sue Woodd is a highly experienced yoga teacher, accredited by Yoga Alliance and Yoga Professionals, and a Taiji & Qigong Master Instructor with over 35 years of experience. She co-founded the Seasonal Yoga Teacher Training School and is passionate about the connection between mind, body, and nature.

Sue’s journey began at 30, while working long hours in the antiques and restaurant industry. Struggling with her health, she discovered Traditional Chinese Medicine and Taoism through Ayurvedic Doctor Wajed. This marked the start of her healing and her commitment to living in harmony with nature’s rhythms.

She has since taught thousands of students worldwide and runs 200- and 300-hour training programs in Surrey, Scotland, and Sweden. Sue is especially passionate about bringing Seasonal Yoga to children and teens, helping them grow up with deeper awareness of their bodies and the world around them.

Sara is one of our much loved Yo-Chi teachers, Trainers and now Charity Directors. Sara has over 20 years of expertise in energy and healing within the field of holistic health and seasonal wellbeing. 

Sara was inspired by her Godmother Chris Stormer, a world renowned reflexologist, and qualified in 2001 in Reflexology and then continued and enhance her training in Asia which enriched her skills in Ayurvedic and Eastern ways of working and healing the body. She also underwent Maternity Reflexology training with Susanne Enzer, who is a worldwide recognised author midwife and teacher. she was trained by Dr Gowri Motha founder of the Gentle Birth Method) and taught by Suzanne Yates, from Well Mother, a guiding light in pre and postnatal wellbeing.  With Saras expertise she has helped us develop our new programme for children with additional needs and for children in hospices  ~  'Yo-Chi for everyone'. This programme combines the key aspects of out Seasonal Programme with reflexology and story massage. 

Sara Wood, Teacher, Trainer & Director Yo-Chi Charity

Elsa is a 200hr trained Yoga teacher and also completed a BA Drama, Media and Film degree from King Alfred’s at The University of Winchester in 2001. Elsa has since enjoyed acting and directing in various productions. She now combines her working life by teaching Yo-Chi to many children and also acting. She has a great passion for seeing children’s confidence and skills increase through practicing the arts, and  believes in children being able to express their creativity in a relaxed and happy environment. Elsa supports our new trainees and is a highly valued member of our team.
